Circusateliers in beweging

De Vlaamse circusateliers slagen er steeds meer in om hun reguliere werking (wekelijkse circuslessen + kampen in de vakantie) te overstijgen dankzij bijzondere initiatieven: sociaal-artistieke projecten, uitgebreide open dagen, conventies en festivals. Na de Extreme Convention en het Atlas Festival van Ell Circo d’ell Fuego staan de komende weken nog enkele fijne momenten op het programma.
>> 23 en 24 april: Het paard van Troje – eigenzinnig sociaal-artistiek antwoord op de roemrijke revuegeschiedenis die Blankenberge kenmerkt, door Chokri Ben Chikha, Woesh en 20 échte Blankenbergenaars
>> 5 tot 8 mei: Planeet Malem – het eerste buurtcircusfestival van Circusplaneet, in en rond de circuskerk in wijk Malem (Gent)
>> 13 tot 15 mei: Opendeurweekend Cirkus in Beweging – de grootste circusschool van België (en zelfs Europa?) toont al haar lesgroepen in de grote tent van Circus Barones (Leuven)
>> 15 mei: Woeshfeest – het 15-jarig bestaan van Woesh wordt uitgebreid gevierd in CC De Spil (Roeselare)
>> 15 mei: Eindspektakel Sarakasi – een good old eindspektakel met als thema ’the office’ (Dendermonde)
>> 21 en 22 mei: Eindshow ECDF – ook Ell Circo d’ell Fuego waagt zich (voor het eerst!) aan een good old eindspektakel (Antwerpen)
>> 27 tot 29 mei: Benefiet & Circusdagen Zonder Handen – aan de vooravond van de jaarlijkse Circusdagen presenteert Circus Zonder Handen opnieuw een benefietvoorstelling voor zijn sociaal-inclusieve werking (Bronks, Brussel)
