Nieuwe subsidielijn: innovatieve partnerprojecten

Op 8 juni lanceerde minister van Cultuur Sven Gatz de eerste oproep voor innovatieve partnerprojecten, genaamd “Over de muur kijken”. Een partnerproject bestaat uit minstens twee partners waarvan minimaal één culturele partner en minimaal één niet-culturele partner uit een andere sector, zoals onderwijs, wetenschap, gezondheidszorg, milieu, technologie, onderzoek, sociale sector, milieu en ecologie, etc. Een combinatie van één of meer culturele partner(s) en één of meer niet-culturele partner(s) is eveneens mogelijk.
Partnerprojecten openen voor de cultuursector de vaak gesloten deuren naar andere sectoren en bieden de middelen en tijd om in samenwerking met partners nieuwe onderwerpen en vraagstellingen te exploreren. Dit vereist een open attitude en een engagement om de andere sector te leren kennen en uit de comfortzone te treden.
Om een wederzijdse kruisbestuiving alle kansen te geven, is het nodig om over de muur te kijken en onontgonnen gebieden te verkennen. Op die manier kunnen de partners, in dialoog met de gekende of ongekende sectoren, grenzen verleggen.
De beoordeling van de innovatieve partnerprojecten zal gebeuren aan de hand van drie criteria, nl. de cross-sectorale meerwaarde, de innovatieve meerwaarde en de realiseerbaarheid en realiteitszin van het partnerproject. De projectsubsidie bedraagt maximaal 20.000 euro en minimaal 7.000 euro per project. Het betrokken project mag wel geen dubbele subsidiëring genieten. De eigen inbreng van de niet-culturele partner(s) bedraagt minimaal 25% van de totale kosten.
