Bijscholing voor circuswerkers: rigging, circusmateriaal en veiligheid

VOLZET – je kan niet langer inschrijven
In najaar 2017 organiseren Ell Circo d’ ell Fuego en Circuscentrum een zesdaagse stage rond circusmateriaal & veiligheid. Docent van dienst is Joppe Wouters. Joppe is rigger en technisch specialist en heeft al heel wat circusorganisaties bijgestaan in technische expertise en advies. Joppe werkt aan een handleiding rond materiaal & veiligheid voor circusateliers. De bedoeling is om dit te koppelen aan mogelijke certificeringspistes voor de sector, maar ook aan een nieuw opleidingsprogramma waarin theorie en praktijk op de circus(atelier)vloer samen komen.
De eerste (piloot)editie van deze opleiding loopt verspreid over zes maandagavonden in Antwerpen (Ell Circo d’ell Fuego) met een totaal van minimum 12 lesuren:

>> Maandag 25 september, 20:30-22:30 >> Statische technieken: trapeze fix, doek, hoepel, …
>> Maandag 2 oktober, 20:30-22:30 >> Kabel-koorddansen: slappe koord, slackline, …
>> Maandag 9 oktober, 20:30-22:30 >> Portieken
>> Maandag 16 oktober, 20:30-22:30 >> Klimpalen, ankerpunten en piketten
>> Maandag 23 oktober, 20:30-22:30 >> specials ook op aanvraag, zoals: highline, straps, M.A.S, dynamische technieken, valbescherming en longe, …
De eerste les (op 18 september) is algemeen en liefst verplicht voor elke deelnemer. De andere vijf lessen zijn thematisch en kunnen ook ad hoc gevolgd worden (30 euro per les). De volledige cursus bedraagt 160 euro. Circuscentrum moedigt docenten van aangesloten circusateliers aan om deze cursus te volgen en betaalt voor hen de helft van de prijs, mits je de volledige cyclus volgt. Je betaalt dan slechts 80 euro voor de hele opleiding. Het maximum is 20 deelnemers, wacht dus niet te lang om je in te schrijven.
